Cameron Hefty

Cameron is a designer, technician, and entrepreneur, and the owner and President of ProFormance Systems, which among other things provides technical coordination for PSHS for its various live productions that have recently included Chicago, Curtains, and The Who’s Tommy. Cameron is a graduate of Plano East Senior High School where he received the Founders Scholarship at TETA for his lighting design of Our Town. He then attended Collin County Community College working as a shop assistant, lighting designer, and stage manager. His lighting design of Through A Glass Onion, won him the Kennedy Center/ACTF Excellence in Lighting Design Award; further, he was named as a Collin Theatre Centre Hall-of-Fame Inductee. Cameron moved to New York where he was accepted into the Juilliard School Professional Intern Program as Stage Manager for theatre, dance, and opera. After his internship, he toured nationally as the Coordinator of Touring for Manhattan Dance Project. Having returned to Plano, Cameron continues to explore, create, and promote theatre design through technical coordination for the North Texas area.
